About Me
Sometimes we need someone to walk beside us—to help clear the obstacles in our path, support us in setting healthy boundaries, encourage new directions, or simply offer reassurance when we stumble. As a therapist and social worker, I find purpose in building collaborative, trusting relationships that foster well-being, resilience, and growth.
I draw from a diverse professional journey and the personal experience of raising two young adults while navigating the complexities of career and relationships. I hold a Bachelor’s degree from Tufts University and a Master of Social Work from Fordham University. My clinical work has included college mental health counseling and therapeutic support in a residential treatment program for adolescents with eating disorders.
Before becoming a therapist, I ran a successful cooking enrichment program for young children, held program management roles in nonprofit organizations, and worked in the financial sector. Across all these chapters, one constant has been my passion for learning, exploration, and meaningful connection.
My Approach
I work from a client-centered perspective, honoring your unique story and leaning into your strengths and supports. My goal is to create a safe, empathetic space for exploration while offering practical tools and skills to navigate life’s challenges.
Times of transition—whether developmental, emotional, or situational—can feel overwhelming, but they hold the potential to spark meaningful change. I’m here to walk alongside you in those moments and help you reconnect with your sense of agency and possibility. When working with children and adolescents, I use engaging, age-appropriate methods that foster emotional regulation, self-awareness, and healthy communication.
I draw from a range of therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), mindfulness practices, collaborative problem solving, play therapy, and psychoeducation.
My Specialties
I work with clients of all ages, with a focus on children through young adults. My areas of specialty include: anxiety and panic disorders, depression, ADHD, body dysmorphia and disordered eating, life transitions, relationship and peer challenges.
My Self Care
Self-care is essential to my well-being and the foundation of my work. I start each day with coffee and a round of New York Times games—Connections is my current favorite! I make sure to move my body every day, whether it’s playing tennis or pickleball, going to hot yoga, or walking my dogs. When I have extra time, I love to hike, kayak, and dive into home improvement projects. Staying connected with friends and family—and nurturing those relationships—is one of my greatest joys.
