About Me
With a background as a dedicated teacher and now as a psychotherapist, I bring years of experience supporting people through growth, change, and challenges. I work with adults and young adults navigating life transitions, parenting stress, anxiety, depression, grief, and executive functioning challenges. My goal is to create a safe, supportive space where you can explore what’s working, what’s not, and build the confidence and skills to move forward.
My Approach
My approach integrates evidence-based strategies with warmth, curiosity, and collaboration. Whether you’re balancing the demands of parenting, managing ADHD or executive functioning challenges, processing a loss, or working through a period of transition or self-discovery, we’ll work together to clarify your goals and develop practical tools for change.
My Specialties
I specialize in working with:
• Adolescents, Young Adults and Adults
• Anxiety and depression, grief, life transitions, parenting challenges
• ADHD and executive functioning challenges
My background in education gives me a unique perspective on the academic and emotional hurdles students face, especially those with learning and attention challenges.
I also support parents navigating the complexities of raising children with ADHD and executive skill deficits. I work alongside families to improve communication, understand their child’s unique needs, and implement strategies that support therapeutic progress at home.
My Self-Care
Self-care is an essential gift we give ourselves! My top five self-care strategies are: getting enough sleep, moving my body, practicing mindfulness, reading fiction, and spending quality time with those I love, including my fur-babies.
