Why group therapy?

Sometimes our clients need support in addition to individual therapy. Group therapy allows you to share and connect with others in a safe space to engage in open discussion and share experiences with people facing similar struggles. You're able to build a network of support and understanding, while having the opportunity to express yourself, ask questions, and receive guidance.

Ways group therapy can help

Building Connection and Support

Share experiences with others facing similar struggles and build a network of people who understand what you're going through.

Developing Practical Skills

Learn and practice coping strategies, communication tools, and problem-solving techniques alongside peers in a structured setting.

Gaining Perspective

Hearing how others navigate similar challenges can offer new insight into your own thoughts, patterns, and relationships.

Finding your Group

We're always open to forming new groups based on client needs, from skills-based coaching groups to support groups around specific shared experiences.

Skills-based coaching groups

M. Kim O’Connor & Associates offers comprehensive and impactful skills training that you can master on your own time.  These coaching sessions impart skills to help you tackle life, thoughts, problems and relationships – helping you free your thinking so that you can confront situations with the confidence to conquer obstacles.
