I work with teens and adults navigating depression, stress, identity, grief, relationship challenges, and the effects of trauma, with a particular focus on LGBTQ+ and transgender and nonbinary clients, BIPOC clients, young adults, and men. My approach is warm, nonjudgmental, and collaborative, drawing on CBT, person-centered, narrative, and family systems work, and motivational interviewing.
About me
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and am passionate about helping others navigate theirinternal and external worlds. My goal is to create a space where you can show up as yourself, talk openly about what you're experiencing, and feel supported without fear of judgment.
On my journey to becoming a social worker; I worked as a case manager and found I was drawnto helping people even more when I decided to return to graduate school for social work. Sincethen, I have worked in clinical settings with children, teenagers, young adults, and older adults;often working with boys and men.
My approach
I see therapy as a learning process; one where we unlearn old ways and relearn new ones. Mytherapeutic process is a collaborative one, where clients and I work together to achieve whatfeels best for them. I aim to help individuals heal from their past, support them in being more oftheir authentic selves, and grow to have new ways of being that feel healthier. We are alluniquely complex, which is why I choose to use an eclectic approach of evidence-basedmodalities to tailor my interventions to best suit each client’s individual needs. I integrate aspectsof self-compassion, mindfulness, Internal Family Systems (IFS), emotion-focused therapies,CBT, and DBT; I take a holistic and trauma-informed approach to assist clients in learning moreabout themselves to help drive the change they desire.

Outside the therapy room
When I’m not caring for others, I’m practicing my own self-care. I love music, reading, journaling, and working out. I believe life is all about balance; sometimes that means going for along walk by myself, other times it’s watching a movie, and sometimes its busy days going to thebeach with my family. All are important in their own way and meet different needs in my life.
